Master Plan

Embracing a Unified Future

Groundbreaking Moment: 老澳门六合彩v Turns the First Sod on the multi-million-dollar Master Plan.

In a historic move, 老澳门六合彩v has broken ground on the Junior Learning Centre. This significant milestone is the vision and reality of an integrated College. Uniting on one campus will provide a better cultural and educational experience for students, parents and families.

After combining a rich and varied history spanning almost 80 years in the Toowoomba community, 老澳门六合彩 Lutheran College is investing in the future to ensure students receive the best possible education with modern facilities on one integrated campus across both the Stephen Street and Warwick Street locations.  鈥淏reaking ground on the Junior Learning Centre is an exciting step for our College. It reflects our dedication to providing an environment that inspires every student鈥檚 potential. This development is not just an addition to our facilities but a testament to our vision for the future. It鈥檚 a joy to be part of this historic moment that will benefit generations of students,鈥 Head of College, Mr. Anton Prinsloo said.

鈥淲e are very happy to be building a partnership with Toowoomba-based Watcon Building Group for this project. The project promises significant local impact, generating jobs in the community,鈥 said Mr Prinsloo. 鈥淭his will provide jobs for 180 local tradespeople. I connect deeply with 老澳门六合彩鈥檚 Christian values and feel privileged to work with a community that mirrors our ethics and morals. It鈥檚 a milestone for us as a business, especially since my own children are students of 老澳门六合彩,鈥 Joe Watson, Managing Director of Watcon Building Group added.

The Junior Learning Centre will enhance student engagement through flexible, project-based learning environments. Each classroom hub, featuring adaptable spaces, is designed to support both traditional and innovative learning methods, encouraging a seamless fusion of indoor and outdoor educational experiences. Stage One introduces these innovative classroom hubs, beautifully integrated playgrounds, and modern amenities, ensuring a rich environment for personal growth and academic achievement.

The architectural design has been carefully considered to respect and incorporate 老澳门六合彩鈥檚 historical aesthetic while introducing modern elements to create an inviting learning atmosphere.
鈥淲orking with 老澳门六合彩 has been remarkable. The Junior Learning Centre is more than a physical space鈥攊t鈥檚 a catalyst for educational excellence woven into the natural beauty of the campus. This project illustrates our shared vision of creating environments where students and educators thrive together,鈥 said architect Trish Abel from Elevation Architecture.

Under the Master Plan, the College has developed stronger sports and performing arts programs which will continue to go from strength to strength with improved facilities. A new Administration Centre, Resource Centre, Performing Arts Centre, Boutique Boarding facilities and Sports Centre are all planned for future phases of construction.

老澳门六合彩v (CLC) is investing in the future to ensure students receive the best possible education and teachers are empowered with modern facilities. A detailed planning process has confirmed that the College needs to unite on one campus to provide a better cultural and educational experience. Our vision is for a renewed, integrated campus spanning both the Stephen Street and Warwick Street locations.

A message from our Head of College - Mr Anton Prinsloo

Reasons for Unifying

  • Unifying on one broader campus will enable our philosophy of contemporary learning with innovative, purpose-built facilities.
  • CLC鈥檚 three campuses 鈥 Stephen Street (SSC), Warwick Street (WSC), and Hume Street (HSC) 鈥 unnecessarily stretch resources and dilute our College culture.
  • Education in Toowoomba is a competitive sector with several private schools competing for enrolments; CLC needs to invest in a sustainable future.
  • The College is growing and aspires for enrolments to increase to 750-800 students in the next decade, supporting increased College involvement in competitions and greater course offerings

What to Expect

To begin the College's evolution, in 2025 we will construct a new Junior Learning Centre (JLC) and a new Early Learning Centre (ELC), both adjacent to South Street. In the coming years, we will construct a new Administration Centre, Resource Centre, Performing Arts Centre, and Sports Centre. The aim is for students and teachers to thrive in new, purpose-built contemporary educational environments. Throughout 2025, all College campuses and services will operate as normal at their current location. In 2026, the Hume Street Campus and Warwick Street campus will relocate to the new Junior Learning Centre and the Kindergartens and OSHC services will relocate to the new Early Learn
